When you send someone an invite to become a 3rd Party Coordinator for a reservation in your event, they receive a welcome email containing a temporary password. This allows them to create an account in Seatrobot which gives them access to their guest coordination portal for your event.
This temporary password remains active for 30 days to give the recipient time to log in and create their own Seatrobot password. After that, they can log out and back in again at any time until the event date. Note: If someone who successfully registers as a coordinator for one event and then is also invited as a coordinator to a future event, their account will be come active again when invite to coordinate the new event and they can use their own password to log in without requiring a temporary password.
Sometimes a coordinator will contact you to say they did not receive their temporary password email, or they will not create their own password before the temporary password has expired.
In these instances, you can resend a new welcome email with a new temporary password to the coordinator.
To do this follow these steps:
- Go to Admin > Activity > User Activity
2. The user table shows you all the user accounts in your organization who have not completed their log in. The badges with numbers show how many days until their last temporary password expires. If the 30 days has passed, their entry shows 'expired'.
3. To resend a password email, click on the badge number or the 'expired badge, to show the resend welcome email modal:
4. Click 'Re-send Temporary Password' email. The recipient will receive a new email with a new temporary password, which will again last for 30 days until it needs to be reset or the user has created their own password.
