To purchase a ticket on behalf of a guest, navigate to GUEST LIST.
Click PURCHASE GUEST TICKET. This button will only appear if this feature has been enabled at the admin level. For more information on this process, refer to our article Enable Card Not Present.
You'll be redirected to the event web page. Click the ticket you want to purchase on behalf of the guest.
Fill in all of the contact information in the registration input fields, check the box next to both acknowledgements and the I AM NOT A ROBOT declaration, then click CONTINUE TO PAYMENT.
Fill in all the required textboxes on behalf of the purchaser in the PAYMENT INFORMATION table, then click CONFIRM PAYMENT.
The CONFIRM PURCHASE AND TERMS window will appear. Check the boxes next to both acknowledgements and click ACCEPT & PROCEED.
You will be redirected to the TICKET PURCHASE COMPLETED! page.
The guest you purchased a ticket on behalf of will receive a confirmation email.
We can see more details about the purchase if we navigate to the STATUS page.
Click SHOW / HIDE REPORTS.
Click the ticket icon that corresponds with the ticket you just purchased on behalf of a guest.
The TICKET DETAILS window will appear. In this area, you can see that there's an automatically generated note clarifying that this ticket was purchased on behalf of a guest.
You can also see this information via the GUEST LIST.
Click the ticket icon that corresponds with the guest you just purchased a ticket on behalf of.
The TICKET DETAILS window will appear. In this area, you can see that there's an automatically generated note clarifying that this ticket was purchased on behalf of a guest.
