When you send invites through SeatRobot, the recipients have the option to ACCEPT INVITE or DECLINE INVITE.
When the recipient chooses to decline the invite, you have the option of sending a decline confirmation email to them. To enable this feature, refer to Enable Decline Confirmation Emails.
To customize the decline email, navigate to EMAILS.
Click DEFAULT DECLINE CONFIRMATION.
The YOU DECLINED THIS INVITE window will appear. This window contains the template for bill me later confirmation emails. For more information on this process, refer to Email Templates.
You can customize this email, by utilizing the formatting tools and merge fields available in the toolbar. For more information on how to make best use of these features, refer to How to Compose Emails with SeatRobot.
The template refers to an un-decline feature. For more information on this process, refer to Allow Guests to Un-Decline.
Regardless of how you customize this email, you should always keep the 'YOUR REGISTRATION' BUTTON merge field. This button allows recipients to navigate to their guest registration page.
Once you've finished customizing your decline email, we highly recommend sending yourself a test email. This allows you to see what the email will look like for your recipients. To do this, click SEND TEST EMAIL. For information regarding who receives this test email, refer to Test Email Recipients.
After checking your test email for errors, and making any necessary adjustments, click SAVE.
Once you've opened or edited a confirmation email, the LAST EDITED DATE column will display when you made your changes, and the EDITED BY column will display which user made the changes.
If you create an event that involves invites, anyone who declines the invitation will receive your decline email.
