After you've set up your SeatRobot account and established your users, you should set your brand colors. This allows you to customize the look and feel of your public-facing events site and registration pages to match the color scheme of your organization.
Please note, the colors you select will only affect the public-facing events pages, not the colors of the SeatRobot platform.
To set your brand colors, first navigate to your admin portal (denoted by the cogs icon).
You should land on the MANAGE ACCOUNT tab.
Click CUSTOMIZE BRAND COLORS.
The CUSTOMIZE COLORS window will appear. All the colors underneath SET BRAND COLORS are the colors on your public facing events website and register pages. By default, your WEB PAGES PRIMARY COLOR will be purple and the WEB PAGES SECONDARY COLOR and WEB PAGES BODY TEXT COLOR are different shades of grey.
To set new colors, you can click the colored square that corresponds with the category you want to amend. This will open a color wheel that you can choose from.
However, we recommend identifying the exact hex ID of your brand colors, and insert them directly as six-digit color picker values. Remember to keep the # in front of the ID.
Once you've chosen all your colors, click SET in every row.
This is how my colors look for my org once I've set them.
- WEB PAGES PRIMARY COLOR | dark green
- WEB PAGES SECONDARY COLOR | dark yellow
- WEB PAGES BODY TEXT COLOR | black
We highly recommend keeping the WEB PAGES BODY TEXT COLOR black or dark grey. This category is for text heavy elements of your web pages, like the event description and teaser text, therefore it's important that it's a color that's legible and understated.
If you return to the CUSTOMIZE COLORS modal, you can also customize the categories listed under SET EMAIL BUTTONS COLORS. However, we'd recommend leaving these with the default settings, as we've tailored them for maximum legibility.
