If you create a ticketed event, anyone who buys a ticket will automatically be sent a confirmation email. You can edit the content of that email.
To start, create a ticketed event. For more information on this process, refer to Creating a Ticketed Event.
To amend the confirmation email, navigate to EMAILS.
Click DEFAULT TICKET CONFIRMATION.
The YOUR EVENT TICKET PURCHASE window will appear. This window contains the template for ticket confirmation emails. For more information on this process, refer to Email Templates.
You can customize this email, by utilizing the formatting tools and merge fields available in the toolbar. For more information on how to make best use of these features, refer to How to Compose Emails with SeatRobot.
Regardless of how you customize this email, you should always keep the 'YOUR REGISTRATION' BUTTON merge field. This button allows recipients to navigate to their guest registration page.
Once you've finished customizing your ticket confirmation email, we highly recommend sending yourself a test email. This allows you to see what the email will look like for your recipients. To do this, click SEND TEST EMAIL. For information regarding who receives this test email, refer to Test Email Recipients.
After checking your test email for errors, and making any necessary adjustments, click SAVE.
Once you've opened or edited a confirmation email, the LAST EDITED DATE column will display when you made your changes, and the EDITED BY column will display which user made the changes.
If you want to make another confirmation email, you can click the icon in the COPY column. You might do this if you want guests to receive different information depending on which registration button they used. For more information on this process, refer to Customizing Confirmation Emails for Multiple Registration Buttons.
If you've customized your default confirmation email, anyone who registers for your event will receive your customized email.
