Can I edit archived events?

Once an event's date / end time has passed, many features within the event are functionally frozen. We can see what is and isn't available to be edited if we click into one of our events.

For example, on the SETUP page for my event 'Pilates with Ms. Ireen' we can see that the required details aren't editable. However, the teaser text and event description are able to be amended. These features are available in case you want to customize your event webpage after the event has taken place. For example, you can edit the event description to have a thank you message for all attendees.

If you go to the email tab in an event that has passed, you'll notice that the links to confirmation emails are no longer available. However, you can send an announcement email. This tool is useful if you want to reach out to your guests after an event has passed, for example, to share pictures, updates or a thank you message.

You can also amend different elements of the WEB PAGE, including the header image, content tabs, etc. For example, after the event has passed, you may want to edit the header image to be a photo from the event itself.
