If you've created a recurrent event, you can extend the dates within that recurrence. For example, I want to extend the dates for my Best Practices for Breastfeeding Workshop. Right now there are 12 individual events within the recurrence.
Please note - you cannot extend or add dates to a set of events in which every event has already passed. There must be at least one active event (an event with a future date) in an event set to be able to access its schedule page.
To extend the recurrence, click the calendar icon in the schedule column for that event.
You will be redirected to the SET SCHEDULE FOR... page. Scroll down to the COMPLETES table. If you have a specific day that you want to extend your event until, select ON DATE. A calendar date-picker will open.
You can also extend a recurrence by adding a specific number of events. Click AFTER, then type the number of occurrences of your event that you want in total into the provided textbox, then click GENERATE SCHEDULE.
The extended dates will appear in the panel on the right. After you've generated your new events, you can also add individual new events to the recurrence. Scroll to the top of the panel, click ADD EVENT DATE, and use the calendar date-picker to select specific dates.
You can also delete any unnecessary dates by clicking the corresponding red trash can icon. Once the extended dates are accurate, click SAVE SCHEDULE.
The CONFIRM SCHEDULE modal will open with a full list of events within the recurrence. New events are bolded. Click SAVE AND LAUNCH SCHEDULE.
Click CLOSE AND RELOAD DASHBOARD.
You'll be redirected to your dashboard. You can see that the green number that corresponds with your event has updated to reflect the number of events that are now contained within the recurrence.
