You can filter the events in your dashboard by three categories.
- Filters & Filter Groups
- Relative Date & Timeframes
- Event Manager(s)
Our filtering system is designed to give you both flexibility and precision when exploring your events. Within each individual filter group (such as Manager Filters, Date Filters, or Custom Filters) the logic follows an OR structure. This means that if you select multiple options within the same group (for example, choosing both Annie Smith and Jeremy Davis under Event Manager), the dashboard will display all events managed by either of those users.
The same OR logic applies to any custom filter categories you create. However, between different filter groups, the system operates on an AND logic. So, if you filter to show events managed by Annie Smith or Jeremy Davis and apply a custom filter for Tours, the dashboard will only display events that meet both criteria—specifically, tours managed by either of those users—rather than showing all tours and all events from those managers independently.
If you have an enterprise account with SeatRobot, you can filter the events you see on your dashboard by utilizing the CUSTOM FILTER, DATE FILTERS and MANAGER FILTERS buttons / toggles.
To filter your dashboard by filters, click CUSTOM FILTERS.
The APPLY CUSTOM FILTERS modal will open. Check the boxes next to the filters you want to apply, then click SAVE.
To have your dashboard display only events that belong to those filters, click the toggle button from OFF to ON.
Toggle the CUSTOM FILTERS to OFF to reset your dashboard. Click DATE FILTERS to filter your dashboard by date.
The FILTER EVENTS BY DATE modal will open. You have the option to filter your events by certain timeframes (this month, this week, etc.) or you can choose a custom date range, which will open up a calendar tool. Once you've chosen your preferred date range, click SAVE.
You can display events that fall only in that date range by toggling the button from OFF to ON.
The dashboard will display all events that fall within your chosen dates, including recurrences where some of the individual occurrences fall outside of those dates. If you want to see only the exact events that fall within your specified dates, click the export icon. If there are any multiple date events where at least some of the dates fall within your specified date range, they will appear in this export.
After clicking the export button, a CSV file will download that contains a list of all of the events that fall within your specified dates. Any individual events that are part of a recurrence will display together. If there are any multiple date events where at least some of the dates fall within your specified date range, they will appear in this export.
Toggle the DATE FILTERS to OFF to reset the dashboard display. Click MANAGER FILTERS.
The FILTER EVENTS BY EVENT MANAGER modal will open. Check the box next to the event manager you want to filter by, then click SAVE.
To display only events that are managed by that user, click the toggle from OFF to ON. Click the toggle OFF to reset your dashboard.
