With SeatRobot, you can choose which, if any, event details to display in the sidebar. By default, the sidebar on the event web page only include the time and date of the event, venue details, in addition to icons that allow guests to add the event to their calendar.
If you want to display certain details in this sidebar, navigate to WEB PAGE.
If you scroll to the bottom of the page, on the right hand side, you'll see the PAGE SIDE BAR CONTENT table. Within this table, there are various checkboxes that allow you to toggle the visibility of certain event details on your event web page. As discussed, certain details are automatically switched on, but you can amend those to your preferred specifications.
For my event, I'm going to do the following:
- I'll switch off DISPLAY EVENT DATE. This is because it's already displayed in larger font next to the teaser text, so I think it's unnecessary to have it in this panel as well.
- I'm going to switch off DISPLAY VENUE DETAILS. I'm putting this event on my organization's events website, but I only want the address to be available to guests who register. Therefore, I'll just put the address in the confirmation email instead.
- I want this event to be shareable on social media, so I'll check ALLOW EVENT TO BE SHARED ON SOCIAL MEDIA.
Regarding all other options, I'm happy with the default. Therefore, I'll press SAVE.
If I scroll back up the page, I can click PREVIEW EVENT WEB PAGE to see how these changes effect my event web page.
Now, my event web page displays only the specifications I chose.
