'Viewers' are a type of user within SeatRobot. Their permissions only allow them to access certain events within their organization. The types of events they are allowed to access are determined by filter groups.
For more information on viewers, refer to Establishing Users.
To assign filters to a viewer, make sure you're in the admin portal (denoted by the cogs icon).
Next, navigate to USERS.
Identify the viewer you want to assign filter groups to. Viewers are denoted in green text. They will also have an extra icon in their ROLE column. Click this icon.
The APPLY CUSTOM FILTERS modal will open. Check the boxes next to the filters you want this person to have access to. For example, this viewer-user is based in the New York office, and reports to Claire Adams and Noah Kerpan. Therefore, I only want them to have access to events that are affiliated with these filters.
Once you've selected your specifications, press SAVE.
Now, when the viewer logs in, their dashboard will only display events which have been assigned the filters you selected.
