When you create an event in ZenGRM, you get more than just a registration page. You get a permanent, fully customizable web page that works hard for your event at every stage of its life cycle. Think of your event web page as a living, breathing website where registration functions are optional depending on your event's current specifications.
Before Registration Opens
You don't have to wait until tickets or registration are available to start building buzz. Your event web page can go live as a teaser the moment you're ready to promote, complete with event details, branding, and a countdown to when registration opens. Think of it as a dedicated website for your event, available to share and promote right away.
For example, my organization is hosting a fundraising gala later this year. I know the date of the event and some general information, but I don't know the capacity of the event or the agenda yet. Therefore, I've designed my web page to function as a save-the-date. There are no registration options or specific details yet, but the web page lets people know what to expect and where to go.
While Registration Is Open
Your event web page is fully customizable, so you can include everything attendees need to know: event details, speaker information, schedules, pricing...whatever helps tell your event's story and drive registrations or ticket sales.
For example, now that I'm ready for people to register for my event, I've made the tickets and third party packages live on my page. I've also included an agenda content tab so people know what to expect on the night.
After Your Event
When your event wraps up, your event web page doesn't go dark...it evolves. You can continue to update it with post-event content such as:
- A recording or replay of your webinar
- Links to surveys and follow-up resources
- Photos from the event
- Any other content you want attendees (or future attendees) to find and share
For example, after the event took place, I amended the event description to be a thank you note. I also added a content tab called 'A Beautiful Night!' that contains photos from the night.
Once an event is archived, all ticket and registration functions disappear from the event web page by default. In their place, your event's cut-off message is displayed. This is a clean way to let visitors know registration or ticket sales have ended. For more information regarding how to customize this message, refer to Event Cut-Off.
Any linked events on your event web page that are still open for registration remain fully active and clickable, so visitors can always find and act on what's current.
You're never locked out. You can open and edit all event web page content for archived events at any time, giving you complete control over your event's web presence.
