With SeatRobot, you can schedule announcement emails to launch a specific number of days or hours BEFORE or AFTER an event. To do this, navigate to EMAILS.
Click SEND ANNOUNCEMENT.
Create your announcement email and choose the recipients for that email. For more information regarding this process, refer to Sending Announcement Emails. Then, click SET LAUNCH TIME.
The SET LAUNCH TIME modal will open. Select LAUNCH DAYS BEFORE / AFTER EVENT or LAUNCH HOURS BEFORE / AFTER EVENT.
If you selected HOURS, type the number of hours in the provided textbox, then use the dropdown to choose if you want the email to launch BEFORE EVENT or AFTER EVENT.
If you selected DAYS, type the number of days before or after the event you want this email to launch.
Please note, the DAYS represents exactly 24 hours. Therefore, if your event starts at 4PM, and you choose 2 days after the event, the email will launch at 4PM 2 days after (48 hours difference).
If you select '0' days before or after the event, the announcement will send exactly at the start time (0 days before) or exactly at the end time (0 days after) the event.
After making your selection, press SAVE.
Click LAUNCH.
The CONFIRM EMAIL SEND modal will open. Click CONFIRM to officially launch the email.
The announcement email you scheduled will appear in the INVITE / EMAIL HISTORY TABLE at the bottom of the page.
To edit the content of any scheduled email, or its recipients or scheduled launch time, click the green clock icon on its row in this table.
The email will re-open at the top of the page. You have the option to DELETE, HOLD or LAUNCH the email at this stage.
