If you create a recurrent or series event, you can edit individual occurrences within their sets. To do this, first navigate to DASHBOARD.
Recurrent and Series events have a green badge to the left of their EVENT NAME. The number contained inside this badge represents the number of individual occurrences within the event set.
If you click the green badge that corresponds with a specific event, the occurrences expand in a panel to the right. From here, you can edit individual occurrences.
For example, if you want to edit the NAME for just one of the occurrences, you would check the box next to the specific event(s), then click EDIT NAME.
The EDIT... modal will open. Type in your preferred name for this specific occurrence, then click SAVE.
That occurrence will now display your amended EVENT NAME.
You can also edit the date and time of specific occurrences. To do this, check the box next to the specific event(s), then click EDIT DATE.
The EDIT EVENT DATE / TIME OF... modal will open.
You can edit the EVENT START DATE or EVENT END DATE by clicking the current date, which will open a calendar picker.
You can edit the EVENT START TIME or EVENT END TIME by clicking the current time, which will open a drop down menu with more options.
Once the dates and times match your preferences, click SAVE.
That occurrence will now display your amended EVENT DATE and/or EVENT TIME.
You can also delete specific occurrences entirely. To do this, check the box next to the specific event(s), then click the red trash can icon.
The DELETE... modal will open. You can edit the EVENT CUT OFF MESSAGE, which will display on the event web page of the deleted occurrences.
Upon deletion, you will be redirected back to your main dashboard. The number in the green badge will be updated to reflect the amount of occurrences you deleted.
You can also delete a recurrent event entirely using the same workflow. For example, if I tried to delete the recurrent event 'Cancer Survivorship Support Group' by clicking the red trash can icon in its row, the following notification would appear.
To delete a recurrent or series event, you must click the corresponding green badge to expand all of the individual occurrences.
Check the box at the top of the selection column. This will select all individual occurrences, then click the red trash can icon.
You will again be prompted to create a cut off message. Click DELETE when this matches your preferences.
