The process for waitlisting has been upgraded to be more intuitive and functional.
Now, you can enable waitlisting on individual registration buttons. To do this, first create your event, fill in the REQUIRED DETAILS fields, then press SAVE.
The REGISTRATION BUTTON modal will appear. With the new upgrade, there is now a ACTIVATE WAITLISTING checkbox and a MAX WAITLISTED WITH THIS BUTTON textbox.
If you do not want your registration button to become a waitlist button when the button reaches capacity, leave the ACTIVATE WAITLISTING checkbox unchecked.
If you want this registration button to become a waitlist button once it reaches capacity, check the ACTIVATE WAITLISTING checkbox. Then, type in the max number of guests you want to be able to join the waitlist and click SAVE INFO.
Before your event reaches capacity, your register button will look like this:
Once your event reaches capacity, the register button will be appended with the word WAITLIST. When people register using that button, they will be added into the waitlist in your guest list.
If you navigate to GUEST LIST, you can see that waitlisted guests are delineated in blue.
To change a guest's status from waitlisted to confirmed, refer to Confirm a Guest.
Once your waitlist reaches capacity (according to the number you set up in the registration button modal) the words REGISTRATION FULL will display next to the register button on the event web page. The REGISTER button will not be functional.
