Linking Guests

Within ZenGRM, you can link guests together. There are a number of reasons you may want to do this. For example, if there is a couple that signed up for the event separately, you may want to link them in the guest list to remind yourself of the association.

The most useful aspect of linking is it's conversion into our SEATING tool.

You can link guests together by checking the boxes that correspond with their names, then clicking the link button (the paperclip icon). 

When guests are linked, they have a unique number in the link column of the guest list.

You can also link multiple people. For example, at my event, there will be a seated dinner portion of the evening, where I want people to sit with their departments. I would follow the same process as above, and they would all be assigned a link number. When you go ahead and use our SEATING tool, the system will already know that these guests need to be sat together.

If you are linking more than two people together for a purpose other than seating, the tagging tool would probably be a better option for your guest management needs.
