In ZenGRM, you can 'tag' a guest to help your organize and group people within your event.
What is a tag? A tag is a way to categorize your guests into groups that are relevant to your event. For example, if you're hosting a dinner gala, you might want to create tags for your guest's meal plans (i.e. vegetarian, fish, beef). If you are hosting a summit with different industry leaders and guest speakers, you might want to create a tag for VIPs.
You can access tags by clicking the tag icon in the tool bar.
By default, the categories BILL ME LATER, CHECK IN and DO NOT SEAT already exist as tags. I've also created my own tag, VIP.
If you want to create a new tag, click ADD NEW...
The CREATE A GUEST TAG window will open.
For NAME OF GUEST TAG, type in the info that is relevant to this group of people. For example, my event is a company retreat, and I need to keep track of who is staying in the C-suite lodging.
For SHORT NAME, create an abbreviation of 2-3 letters for this tag that you'll remember and is distinct from any other tags you'll make.
For GUEST LIMIT, type in the maximum capacity for this tag, exactly like you would for a registration button. If there's no limit for how many people can have this tag, type in 0.
For BADGE ICON, you can choose a visual that will replace the SHORT NAME abbreviation. This is useful if you're using our printing badges tool for your event.
Once you've entered all the details for your tag, press SAVE TAG.
To add people to the tag, select the boxes that correspond with their name, then click the tag icon, and select the tag you want to add them to.
You can see what tags specific guests belong to by hovering your mouse over the tag icon in the guest list. If you want to see everyone you added to a certain tag, use the filter by tags tool.
